On a beautiful spring morning 16 brave soldiers took the trek to Araleun. The course was looking good recovering from the sand and coring of the greens. The star of the day was our visitor Stafford who has played a few times with the club. 19 on the back and 21 on the front led to a blistering 40 points off a 25 handicap. This included 2 wipes , not bad for a 71 year old.

Nevertheless, It was good to see Paul "Bomber" Heine back and making a splash with a hard earned victory (33 points) just winning on countback from Basil. (33points)

Pete Tallon was 3rd with his unpredictable game shot by shot finsihing on 31 points and Lawrie took the honours on the magnificent signature hole - par 3 16th.

It was a wonderful day full of banter and fun and enjoyed by most.
