Due to the developing Coronavirus situation, following advice from the Health Department and GolfWA, The Players Club has suspended all competitions until further notice. The following is an extract of the notice that was sent out to all members earlier this week by club president Gary Hammond.

Recent developments in respect of the Public Health Act, 2016 (WA) that the playing of organised sport has been further restricted with significant penalties for breaches imposed. They prohibit gatherings of two or more people who do not ordinarily reside at the same premises, for the purposes of participating in sporting activity together. See point 7(e) of the Preventative Restriction of Activities Directions statement here As more information comes to hand the committee will advise on fixtures and recommencing the season.
