Pennants Round 1 Update

Round 1 write up from the Pennants Captain - Lawence Tufnell

Hi Gents,

Just thought I would give a brief update of The Players Club round 1 pennants.

First off, what was an absolute debacle of booking in a round with some last minute changes resulted in us hosting round 1 to PGN.

We played Maranagroo Golf Club and well, course was in great shape.

Results:

Oggy drew his match in what looked like a great match. Well done mate!

El Presidente (Geddes) delivered a cracking score of 5&3.

Jonny Scafidi played really well for a draw. Almost had the W. Well played sir

Mark Davies another W on the board with 4&3 as always Mr consistent. Well played sir!

Mark Ellis delivering the goods for the club in a solid 3&2 win. Well done sir great result!

And then finally myself with a modest 8&7.

So all up 4 wins and two half's. Great start by the team in round 1.

Next round is on the 10th against Peninsula GC at their home ground.
